Most bike lights and flashlights eat battery life at least the hi lumen output ones do like 90 to 220 lumens in this case. The regular AAA batteries drained really fast like 30 minutes or so of use. Unless you have the hi end "CREE" bulbs in your device you should invest in these. For "lo stream" or lo usage devices like your remote control any old battery kirkland or generic works fine life wise but hi usage devices require the name brand duracell types and in this case ultras.
